This qualification is directly aligned with priority industry areas where jobs are today, and into the future. As part of the state government Lower fees, local skills program, through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the tuition fees (plus resource fee) capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession.

Become instrumental in maintaining high tech control systems

Are you a qualified tradesperson with an electrical trade background? If so this course will give you the practical skills and knowledge to be employed as an instrumentation and control technician. You will undertake both theoretical and practical training.

The theoretical component is online whilst the practical components can be completed at our Midland campus, in a single 2 week block - dates are listed in the timetable tab below. Or the course can be spread out over 6 months to suit your schedule. This course costs approximately $700 if you enrol in the units outlined in the important information tab but please note fees are subject to change.

It is possible to enrol in the Proportional Integral Derivative Skill Set concurrently and we will help you manage the order of completion of subjects so that you can achieve the pre-requisite units before commencing the PID program.
