This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to manufacture, fit, assemble, erect, operate, test, fault find, alter, repair electrical equipment and includes electrical wiring work only if that work is associated with assembling, maintaining, terminating or altering the wiring between electrical components within a plant or machinery.

Our Electrical workshops house advanced equipment and our lecturers are experienced Electricians, who maintain close links with Building and Construction organisations so that training is industry relevant, giving you the best chance to succeed.

Under supervision you will be able to:
- Undertake work carried out on electrical installations which are designed to operate at voltages greater than 50 volt (V) alternating current (a.c.) or 120 V direct current (d.c.)
- Solve problems in d.c. circuits and in single and three phase low voltage machines
- Develop and connect electrical control circuits
- Use diagrams, standards, codes and specifications
