Enjoy a smorgasbord of ceramics techniques

This course covers a range of ceramic techniques. Depending on your skill level and interests; you can follow instructor's projects or work independently on your own.
Techniques taught include wheel-throwing, sculpting, hand-building, texturing and decorative techniques, slab-building, coil-building and glazing.
Monday classes are aimed at students who have Ceramic experience, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday classes are aimed towards beginner students and above levels

Follows on from the Photography Basic course and allows photographers to take their photography to the next level.

This course provides students with skills that allow them to develop their personal vision as well as introducing more specialized areas such as artificial lighting, close-up photography and Lightroom.  Moving beyond just taking photographs, this course will help the photographer develop their body of work and lead them down the path to getting their work shown to a wider audience.

Photography Black & White Darkroom

Photography - the traditional way

The course is aimed at photographers who want to move away from the clinical environment of the digital lab and rediscover the magic of traditional wet darkroom photography processes. The course provides black and white film developing and print making techniques.
It includes a large component of self-directed darkroom time where you may use the facilities under the guidance of the lecturer to refine your black and white printing skills.  You may print your own negatives or those existing in your family archives.
