Are you ready to unearth a fine career?

This mining exploration course will prepare you for work as a pit technician and underground technician. You'll learn how to collect and analyse geological samples, record information, and look after the practical tasks involved in servicing a remote field operation.

In addition, you will also learn basic vehicle maintenance, mining computing, first aid and mining methods. If you have a manual driver's license, you will have the option of enrolling in the 4WD unit to improve your employability.

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:
