Bachelor Of Business (Convention And Event Management)

State ID: LCB001

Le Cordon Bleu's Bachelor of Business (Convention and Event Management) is delivered through a combination of lectures and tutorials conducted by North Metropolitan TAFE at the centrally located Northbridge campus.
Once you have graduated you'll have the opportunity to enter the exciting world of event management, a sector that has matured in recent years in Australia and is increasingly playing a significant role in the creation of working business profiles, public relations campaigns and employee professional development. Program and product launches, conferences, exhibitions and various other business-related and social events all fall within the event manager's role.

Festivals, a growth market, as more and more communities are realising the potential for income represented by events held in their town or locality are also nurtured, promoted and managed by event managers. ‘Business tourism’ or ‘business events’ implies meetings, incentive travel, convention and exhibition industries, the most significant portion of which is the meetings industry, a multi-billion dollar enterprise worldwide.

In terms of trends in contemporary society, the events manager needs to have a holistic approach to the role.
The modern practitioner is a hands-on innovator with the right ideas to put in place a theme, content and ambience that will work toward delivering the desired outcome. This course will provide you with the skills and abilities to work to a brief outlining business objectives to reach an outstanding result.

With the skills gained by completing this internationally recognised qualification you'll be ready to work in a range of roles all over the world.

In this partnership, FEE Help may be available for Australian citizens studying this course.
This internationally recognised and respected qualification is available to both local and international (CRICOS code: 089885M) students. All applicants, local and international should apply through the Le Cordon Bleu website.

Course fees are made up of two components, tuition fees and resource fees.

Tuition fees are determined by multiplying the course fee rate by the nominal hours, which is the number of hours in which an average student could be expected to complete each unit. They are not the hours of training or instruction.

Resource fees are charges for material that are essential to a course or unit, and are purchased by NMT to be used by students during the course.

Fees may vary depending on the units you are enrolled in so an approximate amount has been shown. You will be given the exact amount of your fees at enrolment. Part time student fees will vary depending on the number of units you are enrolled in.

Please note, you may also need to buy textbooks or equipment for your course.
